Eligibility Requirements
Our Construction Craft Laborer Pre-Apprenticeship Program is open to motivated individuals who are eager to start a career in construction. To join, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Age – You must be at least 18 years old.

Education – A high school diploma or GED is not required to apply; however, a GED must be obtained prior to graduating the program.

Residency – Must reside in Detroit or surrounding areas.

Physical Ability – This program involves hands-on training and physical work. Applicants should be prepared for activities like lifting, bending, and working on their feet.

Commitment – We look for applicants ready to commit to the 288-hour training program and willing to advance into our Registered Apprenticeship Program upon completion.
